Ollie Marland's choice to hang up his football boots and leave his position as striker at Port Vale FC to pursue a career as a singer, is proving promising as he gears up to perform alongside Ne-Yo and The Wanted at Fusion Festival.

The 18 year old rising star gained the attention of industry heads by becoming a YouTube sensation and covering tracks from the likes of Bruno Mars, Olly Murs and One Direction. Born in Stoke-on-Trent, Ollie came to prominence in 2012 after he won a chance to perform at the Stoke Live festival and has since gone onto release his own single Crazy as he works on his upcoming EP.
